Support for Behavior and SEL via MTSS

This workshop is designed to empower educators and school leaders with strategies for addressing behavioral barriers through an effective Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS). Participants will explore the critical intersection of behavior, academics, and social-emotional well-being. Through guidance and collaborative activities, attendees will learn how tiered interventions and supports can enhance student success, create a positive school climate, and promote prosocial behaviors, as well as gain practical tools and evidence-based practices in SEL and behavior management to make a lasting impact on your school community.

  • Understanding Behavior within MTSS: Explore the role of behavior within the MTSS framework and its impact on student learning and outcomes.

About the Presenter

Dr. Lauren Goodwyn has a wealth of clinical experience, working with adults who have various diagnoses and serving as a consulting behaviorist for both general and special education populations within school districts. Throughout her career, she has focused on effective staff training, development and supervision of clinical programming, along with program evaluation. She is especially passionate about working with individuals of all backgrounds, as well as training frontline staff, teachers, social workers, counselors, and families to manage interfering behaviors with students and address behavioral concerns.
